The 14-day free trial of Fab ERP is long enough to run one real PO, one real party and one real crew through it. That is the whole test, and it is how we would judge any ERP free trial in India. A trial that only clicks through screens teaches you nothing, because every screen looks fine with demo data.
This is the plan we would follow if we were trying an ERP in our own shop. It uses only things Fab ERP does today.
What does the ERP free trial include?
Every plan has 14 days free. You set up auto-pay when you start. Nothing is charged during the trial, and we email you 3 days before every charge, so the first charge never arrives without a notice. You can cancel any time. Your access runs to the end of the period, then you have 30 days to export your data.
We do not promise how much time you will save or how soon your staff settle in. You will measure both.
What should you have ready before day 1?
A small list, so the trial does not stall on day 2.
- The login of the company inbox where POs arrive.
- A free hour with your accountant, if you want the Tally connector.
- One supervisor who agrees to mark one crew for a week.
- The name of the party that always pays late. You will look it up on day 7.
If any of the four is missing, wait. It is better to start the 14 days a few days later than to waste three of them.
What should you do on day 1?
Three jobs, in this order.
- Start on the start page and set up auto-pay. Pick Silver or Gold. If you are unsure, take Gold for the trial: it has the Production Board, Attendance and the full Clients Ledger, so no module is out of reach during the trial.
- Connect the company mailbox where POs arrive: Gmail, Yahoo, Outlook or any other IMAP mailbox. Use the inbox your POs actually reach, not a test one.
- If your accountant uses Tally, ask us to set up the connector. We do it with you. It is read-only, reads once an hour by default, and your accountant changes nothing about how he works. The Tally page lists what it reads.
Do not enter old data on day 1. Enter nothing you do not have to.
What should you do on day 3?
Wait for a real PO. Do not forge one.
When it arrives, it files itself into the purchase orders folder with quantity, rate and deadline read from it. You check the review row. Anything the system is unsure of waits for you. Tap Accept and the order exists.
Then follow it. The order shows its money and its timeline. When the material is ready, make the challan and share it on WhatsApp from the Database screen to the party's store.
Write down two things: how long the PO took from mail to order, and if you had to retype anything. Those are your numbers, not ours.
What should you do on day 7?
By now you have raised an invoice or two. The week is about the money and the floor.
- Ask Fabio. Type "Who should I chase for payment?" It answers from your books with names and amounts. If your books are thin, the answer is thin. That tells you something true about the first week, not about the software.
- Open the Clients Ledger. You see each party's statement, credit limit and ageing, including the 60+ days list. Open it for the party that always pays late.
- Mark one crew. Have the supervisor mark one day's crew on his phone in Attendance. Contractor crews are part of the muster. Attendance is on Gold, or on Silver as an add-on.
What should you do on days 8 to 14?
Decide with a scorecard you wrote on day 1. Keep it to five lines:
| Question | Yes or no |
|---|---|
| Did a PO become an order without retyping? | |
| Did the supervisor use it without being chased? | |
| Could you name the three oldest dues from your phone? | |
| Did the accountant object to anything? | |
| Would you miss it if it stopped? |
Four yes answers is a good sign. Fewer is a reason to stop, and that is a fine result. A trial exists so you can say no cheaply.
What does it cost after the 14 days?
Prices per month, plus 18% GST. Totals are rounded to the rupee.
| Plan | Offer price | With GST | Regular | With GST |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Silver | ₹4,999 | ₹5,899 | ₹9,999 | ₹11,799 |
| Gold | ₹9,999 | ₹11,799 | ₹19,999 | ₹23,599 |
Silver covers Dashboard, Mailbox, Orders, Database, Transactions, Cashbook, Clients Ledger, Fabio and the phone app with PIN lock, with email support. Gold adds the Production Board, Attendance, Tools, guided create with Fabio and priority WhatsApp support. The price you start on stays the same for as long as your subscription runs. The pricing page has the full table, and the product page shows each module.
What Fab ERP does not do today: e-invoices, e-way bills and payroll. If you need those first, this is not the trial to start.
What happens if the trial goes badly?
Then stop. Cancel any time. Your access runs to the end of the period, and you have 30 days to export your data. A trial that ends in a clear no is a good use of two weeks, because you found out for nothing, and you know what to look for in the next one.
What should you ask any vendor about a trial?
These work for us as well as for anyone else.
- Is auto-pay or a card needed to start, and what exactly is charged on day 15?
- Who sets up the first connection, you or the vendor?
- Can I export my data if I stop, and for how long?
- Can I cancel without a call?
- What does the trial not include?
If a vendor will not answer these in writing, you have your answer.
Should you start the trial now?
Not yet, if you have no live POs, no late parties and no crew this month. A trial in an empty week proves nothing. Start it in a week when real work is moving through your inbox and your ledger.
Questions owners ask us
Do I need a card to start the trial?
You set up auto-pay when you start. Nothing is charged during the 14 days, and we email you 3 days before every charge.
Which plan should I start the trial on?
Gold, if you want to try every module, because Attendance and the Production Board are on Gold. The pricing page lists what each plan includes.
What happens to my data if I stop?
You keep access to the end of the paid period, then you have 30 days to export. You can also ask us for your data at any time.
Is there a demo without signing up?
There is no public demo. The trial is the demo. If you want a person to walk you through it first, write to us from the contact page.
How do I know it is worth paying for?
Use the scorecard above. If a PO became an order without retyping, the supervisor used it, and you could name your three oldest dues from your phone, it is doing its job.
